The KVK also organizes a good number of extension activities for the benefit of the farming community as well as other stake holders. It has successfully conducted 15 nos. of field days on different crops in farmers field to motivate the farmers for scientific crop production. Other activities like exposure visit of farmers, farmers scientist interactions, kissan sanmelan, agricultural exhibition, diagnostic survey, focus group discussion, etc. are organized regularly as per the requirement of farmers. Besides participating in various district level exhibitions, this KVK has also participated in regional as well as national level agriculture exhibition inconnection to National Workshop on KVK’s (Hyderabad), 96^th Indian Science Congress (NEHU, Shillong) and NE Agrifair, 2009, Pasighat (Arunachal Pradesh). Similarly 20 nos. of extension literature have been published on different topics of agriculture, animal science and home science. Various need based information has also been disseminated through mass media like newspaper, radio and TV.
